The problem is with contact availability status it gets rarely updated if ever.
How does ekiga server determinate if user is still online? Are there

Hi,
Is there any unofficial repository or chance to see latest ekiga in sid ?
apt-get install ekiga
ekiga: Depends: libopal3.6.1 but it is not installable
and
apt-get install ekiga-snapshot
ekiga-snapshot: Depends: libltdl3 (>= 1.5.2-2) but it is not installable
both still don't install here.
So I can expect new ekiga in sid in a few days ? :) Great !!

That makes no sens. Here on Debian everything works just fine.
What You need to do is provide sufficient information. My suggestion is
apt-get install ekiga-dbg libpt2.6.3-dbg libopal3.6.1-dbg
Then compile and install sysprof from
git clone git://git.gnome.org/sysprof
Load module and make a prof

Debian packages are using Opal 3.6.1~dfsg-1
Is using opal 3.6.2 a fix release in favour of 3.6.1 and I should use newer

Or its better to keep with 3.6.1 as Debian packages depends on because
something has changed ?

Hi,
I am using GNU/Linux Debian (sid) which is missing H264 due to restrictions.
Current ekiga version in sid is 3.2.1~git20090515.9d0263-1
Is it possible to download missing package from somewhere or compile h264
without compiling whole ekiga stack ?
Thanks in advance,
Mateusz

Unfortunately libavcodec52 and libx264 are not in non-free.
Another and only solution that comes to my mind that would be nice is
remaking script building snapshots to manually build stable releases.
I tried snapshot despite its missing H264, calling just don't work, so I had
to downgrade to Debian
Those codecs were working a time ago with snapshots. This is the only tip I
have.
Finally is there a chance to see non-free H264 in Debian non-free section ?

Hi
I am Debian (sid) user. I installed snapshot from 270509 and non-free
codecs are missing.
Debugging ekiga says
dyna.cxx(124)DYNAError loading libavcodec - libavcodec: cannot
open shared object file: No such file or directory
dyna.cxx(124)DYNAError loading @+|`/libavc
