I manually deleted the indices through the following command and now it
works:
curl -XDELETE 'http://localhost:9200/index_name'

after I uninstalled elasticsearch 0.9.x through brew uninstall
elasticsearch I installed elasticsearch 0.20.6 through brew install
elasticsearch-0.20.
When I start the server through elasticsearch -f -D
es.config=/usr/local/opt/elasticsearch-0.20/config/elasticsearch.yml the
server
No strange entries in the log.
As a temporary solution I rebuild the index through Ruby gem tire:
ModelName.rebuild_index

I've setup Elasticsearch with 1 cluster á 4 nodes.
When I call a simple query like the following one multiple times I get
different hits in the response:
curl -XGET 'http://localhost:9200/index_name/_search?q=termpretty=true'
What can I do?
