Figured out the culprit of my "AC hum on your tuneup signal"
There is a local ham here who is blind, therefore,
He has one heck of an ear for all things audio,
He helped me setup my TX EQ a while back,
and it finally dawned on me to ask him to listen to my tune signal,
and sure enough, he was able
Install the one with the higher number. They both are complete sets of
firmware. All beta releases are complete and do not require any prior
version to be previously installed.

Just the one with the higher number. The other one will be deleted, and
there is no requirement to install them sequenti

one with the highest number, why instal 94 when 97 is avaliable?
Confused.

I have a strange problem that I have only just noticed.
I have memory channels 20 to 26 with the UK spot 60m frequencies entered,
along with an asterisk so that I can switch between them in a channelised
fashion. Probably starting with 3.96, but it may be much earlier as I have
been not so active

G'day,
And remember that this isn't a once and for all time operation.
Components age and reference oscillators have long term drift.
Method 2 is easy to do.

I would suggest you re-do the Reference Oscillator calibration - page 50

AM-S in FW 3.97 works great. I notice that my frequency displays 15.000.024
when tuning in WWV on 15MHz and 10.000.16 on the 10MHz signal. (Happily, the
displayed frequency is the same on both "sidebands.") The ratio of the

It is a problem as responded by others. I asked Larry Phipps about it and
he said that the program is Flex radio's that is being used. They might not
be receptive to a K3 owner. Flex is now supplying 2 meters so maybe it will
be fixed.
