The PR6 is controlled by either the DIGOUT1 line in the ACC connector, or with the jumper installed, it is connected with the RX ANT button (not the PRE button). So I don't see how you could use either the PRE button or the RX ANT button. You could use the DIGOUT1 signal to operate a 5 volt rel

Dave- The THP amp uses a switching power supply, the KPA500 uses a linear supply. There's the major difference in weight. You don't need the heavy transformer in a switcher, but it's harder to make the power supply "radio quiet" without detectable birdies in the ham bands. 73, Bruce, N1RX __
