Please advise editing frequency memories:
I've set new freqs, (out of amateur bands) then Apply, but response is "no
response to frequency memory query (M)" I have the unit switched on.
The utility seems to be fixated on using COM5, though I've tried all 3 USB
ports on my laptop

We had a good net last Sunday with 30 participants - 1/3 QRP. A high point for
me was working W8ZT, Rick, in WV. I have been net control for almost five
years and still had not had a WV check-in. Rick completes my net WAS,
specially nice since I was born in WV.

It is a typo for either a KX1 or a KX3, depending on the context of the

I had a 'current drawn when off' incident a few years ago myself.
K3 'current when off' was over 1

I could have used a forward-thinker like you on my combat comm team a
long time ago. :-) I hope those who can make the measurements will post
them, my test equipment won't handle the KPA500.

I went to MENU. DUAL RX is OFF.
Both a and b vfo are within 10 kc on 40 M SSB
How to I change OFF to AUTO? I have never tried this before.
Manual just says do it.
Narrow filter is installed but should be disabled by SSB mode.

When I tried measuring in the negative lead, I found zero amps.
The problem is that the grounding system in my station setup
bypasses the negative lead, probably in several ways, letting me
power the K3 up with no connection to the negative power supply
lead at all.
