Hi Harry, I have my second K2 which I got in the middle of January. Both the knob on my earlier one, from June 2016 and the one from January 2017 is the same, and it fits perfectly. The knob is the updated one which also ships with the new encoder assembly. Hope that helps, Cameron - AF7D
