Bill,
I would suggest that you check the SWR on the antenna before concluding
it is an RF feedback problem.
Don't forget that the balun may be breaking down with power and show no
problem at lower power (like from an antenna analyzer).

Good Evening,
QSB made life interesting. It varied from slow waves running from
S3 to S9 followed by faster rates as I copied farther west. By the time
I landed in CO or TX the rate began chopping characters. I had to ask

This can be easily set up. The K4 will protect the receivers, too.

If this has already been announced here, forgive me; when life is busy as it
has been over the last couple of weeks I don't always read the reflector. In
any case the news is worth repeating.
In the October issue of QST, at p. 62, the ARRL announced that Jim Brown, K9YC,

Don,
I finally got around to running my K3 into a dummy load.
I had no problem running 100w or even 110w with a dummy load. Current draw from
the power supply was 22 A and 23 A, respectively, on the K3 display. No HI CUR
indications.
External wattmeter validates the output.
I was getting the
I have an application where I would use 3 RX antennas. Two could use the
RX1 and RX2 ports but the third would use one of the ports provided by the
KAT4.
My concern is avoiding accidentally transmitting thru that third RX port.
Will the ANT CFG constraint of the TX antenna to ANT1 ensure that?

Dick,
Congratulations! You passed! :-)
