I have ordered a K4D transceiver and would like to read the "Owner Manual". I
printed the "Introduction to the Elecraft K4" and have read it. However, I
hope that there is a more comprehensive manual available. I have looked at the
manual embedded in the K4 but have not tied to print it
Can you explain which performance differences differentiate the K4 from
the K3 to make you rate one a 10 and the other an 8?
Thanks es 73,

My awe and excitement hierarchy report varies with age and experience, the
older I get, the more muted my global response. My new K4 gets a 10/10. K3
gets an 8. Icom 775 gets a 9 initially in 1996 but downgraded to a 7 when
K3 replaced it in 2008. Most exciting was Signal One CX7A in 1971.
I have elected to part with my one owner P3.

Indeed that's what I would say also.
I for one can't stand anti-phased headphones. I once discussed that over
using stereo-headphones being fed at tip and ring and left the common
open. The comment was: No one hears that. Well I do! Splitting mono into
high and low pitched
