May I suggest adding a command that allows users to select the more aggressive
6m fan profile on the KPA1500 for HF use? Call it, for example, FP6; to revert
back to the normal HF profile, say FPD. These could then be loaded into FP1
and FP2--We could select the best profile for the current op

Good Sunday morning all,
I have an error on my KPA1500 which occurs when the amplifier is ONLY placed
in "OPER". Given on a minimum of 5.8 to 7.0 watts of drive from the K4D,
the amplifier faults and displays the following: "LOW GAIN RADIO 1". This
occurs on all bands from 160 to 15 meters but

Propagation was not good. QSB helped and hindered. Twenty meters
had more QSB while forty meters had more noise - thunderstorms and a
steady hissing. Digging was rewarded. I gave more than one ESP to S3
signal report. As the sun angle changes forty meters will get longer
