On my K3S screen, near the lower right-hand corner there’s a capital T all by
itself.

The "T" indicates that you have Text Decode turned on.

Last time I looked at their website John the K3 filter page was blank.
I was looking for the 200Hz filter.
The blank page I think says they no longer manufacture K3 filters.
