I gave used Mac for years and there are lots of folks that do.Go with
Howard’s advice first, if you have not already done so.
Odds are the settings in WSJT-X are not quite right. Check the Rig settings
in WSJTX. You might have a check mark set incorrectly, something like DTR
When I change modes from FT4 (Data A) to RTTY (AFSK A), I am only able
to get around 0.2w output in RTTY. I have to recycle the K3 power, to
get full power (100w) in RTTY. Any idea what is causing this, and if
there is a fix other than a K3 power recycle? Both modes use the same
audio settings,
I am using a Mac Mini M2Pro and use WSJT with my K4D. When you install WSJT-X,
there is a readme file with specific instructions on increasing the default
swap file size. One has to do this using terminal (in the utilities application
folder). Have you completed this step?
