Use the utility to check that KAT500 has tuned to your 20 m frequency. If it
has, then
Eric, WB9JNZ, was off in Norway so Brian, K1NW, stood in as net control
with relays John, N6JW, and Steve, WM6P. Odd propagation and heavy QSB.
The net will meet again next Sunday at 1800Z on 14.3035 MHz.

Using the utility, erase the settings for 20M and reteach it? Once
trained, leave it in MAN mode for daily use.

In case anyone is interested, or someone has the same issue and 'Googles;
this in the future, I traced the problem to a faulty crystal on the main DSP
board. It's hard to work on the DSP board in the radio, but with it removed
and just the 5V rail powered, there was no clock on the board. All the
