Is there any interest in a K3/0 (not the mini) with Elecraft hand mic, a RemoteRig RRC1258MkIIs with wifi option (remote end only) and power supply?  I currently do not have the RRC1258 that goes at the transmitting site.  This is in excellent condition.  Allen, W0OUU ___

[Elecraft] KAT500 question

My KAT500 turns on by itself after a power outage.  I can then turn it off and it stays off until another power outage.  I am using a regulated wall wart to power it.  Is this normal behavior? I keep it powered continuously but normally turned off.   Allen, W0OUU

I am just now getting around to trying modes other than cw and data on a recently acquired K3.  I have a 12KHz filter installed in FL1 and the filter utility says it is the only one selected for FM.  However, I am getting the ERR TXF error when I key the mic on FM.  I have no problems on any oth

[Elecraft] K3 CW Indicator

I am having trouble discerning what the "+" indicator in the K3 display means when the CW mode is selected.  I can't seem to find any mention of it in the manual.  It is the same symbol location that is used to indicated offset in FM mode.  Anyone know what this means?  Thanks!  Allen, W0OUU ___

[Elecraft] K3-10 Rx sensitivity update

Update on K3-10 Rx sensitivity problem . found the culprit.  The single standoff for the corner of the KANT3 board was loose between the standoff and the T connector by about a turn.  Wiggling the board around caused the noise to come and go.  Tightening the standoff cured the problemAll
