[Elecraft] K2 LCD dsisplay problem?

Good morning, I would like some help in resolving a problem with my K2. The rig is receiving and transmitting with no problem, but the indicator for LSB, USB, CW etc is not working. I am able to change mode ok but have to rely on my ears to tell me witch mode I am on. On the display I see

I have been using  a Jabra powered speaker for some time now with no problems. They have a built in battery chargeable via a mini USB socket, also have blue tooth connectivity if required. They measure 5 inches wide, 2.3 inches high and 2.1 inches deep, so small enough to slip into a pocket
