I have a CHA-250B antenna, but it is not currently up. This antenna is only
rated for 250W SSB which is probably 100W on CW or a digital mode. I think
this antenna has a matching network and at higher powers will saturate the
cores causing SWR to rise out of control. Same thing happens for me with
James I had the 270 V Err message on my KPA500 as well, S/N 3406. It turned
out to be R16 on the PS board had opened (S/B 100 ohms). This resistor
feeds the voltage multiplier circuit to get to 270V. Don't know if this is
your problem or not but does not hurt to check. It is an SMD resistor and I
circuit for the 270V line.
Bottom line is my KPA500 is back in service.

has worked. The LCD is working fine for my K2.

I purchased a K2 kit (SN 7973) in November 2020 and just received it a week
ago or so. I am trying to install the LCD and backlight and am having
problems. The LCD sits too high and the pins sit just above the top solder
