I am just getting back into enjoying my K3 #328 after a hospital stay, and
am confused by one aspect of the output power measurement. I suspect the
problem lies with me rather than the radio, but I feel it is worth asking
the question.
Suppose I set the power output using the PWR control at 30W. W
I've been a bit suspicious about that "mojo" thing, but working Ducie Island
first call with K3 #328 to indoor dipoles does make me wonder .

In principle, is the K3 capable of measuring the IMD of its own transmitted
PSK signal? And if so, would a firmware change enable the IMD to be
displayed?

Just to say "many thanks" for the numerous really helpful replies I received
(on- and off-reflector) to my queries about using external soundcards for

Will it be possible to receive/transmit MFSK16 on the K3 *without*
using an external PC?

Randy:
PSK is my main mode. I've tried several programs over the last four years,
including the ones you mention. My choice is Logger32. It offers various
flavours of PSK, MFSK and RTTY, one of the best logging programs around, and
is free.
