Should I be concerned about this?
Thank you :-)

. Could that be it?
And I'm thinking of spraying with DeOxit contact cleaner. Is that OK? Thanks!

Hi;
I'm looking for an XV144 to go with my K2. An un-built kit would be my first
choice, followed by a completed unit in good condition from a non-smoking
shack. Please respond directly to chambersja...@yahoo.com with what you have.
Thanks!

Whatever key, or keying device, one chooses, good technique
is paramount. Optimally, the operator receiving your code will have no idea
what particular device you are using, and this is true even with bug-key
sending,
if sent with machine precision. I do not say this is easy. Good code, sent by
and is in average condition. However, for the rig and calibrator,
you'd be hard pressed to find a cleaner specimen. I just don't use it much
anymore and want to get a Kx1 for an upcoming vacation trip.
Please respond off list.
Thanks;

performed. I normally
use 5 watts with a .12 ms transmit/receive delay. i I built the audio filter to
spec and it all tested fine. Any ideas on what I could do to mitigate this
minor annoyance?

Has anyone perhaps upgraded (to the XG-3) and no longer needs their XG-2 3 band
generator?
Please let me know your price if you have a built or unbuilt XG-2 for sale.

Thanks to all for the fast email replies! This list is killer!
I need a few days to go through the several offers and email some folks. I
appreciate all who emailed and I'll send an email off the list when I narrow
down which one I'd like to buy.
All the best;

on the KX1 (options) I could add cash to the deal. The beam is
too big to ship.
I really want a KX1, but would consider a K1, or even a 144mhz transverter for
my K2.
Photos of the beam available.
Thanks;

unfortunately I lack, and I can do some
sensitivity comparisons with my other rigs, but short of a full re-alignment is
there anything?
BTW I have no reason to believe it is anything but great!

Was using her last night and when I got up this morning the speaker was dead -
on all bands of course. Plugged in the headphones and all is OK...she works as
before. Is that a problem in the headphone jack I assume? Any ideas would be
greatly appreciated.

Greetings;
I have an older K2 #2676 and I have noticed that sometimes (somewhat regularly
actually) when using narrower filters on CW (like 400, 200 hz) I get a
crackle/pop/psst sound on keying. I am guessing that I need to do the keying
waveform mod right?
Thanks!

it current. Will this really enhance the rig? All things equal, these
are inexpensive things so I'll likely order them Monday anyway, but does anyone
have thoughts on whether or not I'll notice a change?
Thanks;

PS - I did notice a kind of soft click or pop when keying sometimes

I'm looking for a KAF-2 audio filter for the K2. Maybe you have the DSP now and
your old filter is neglected? Also would be interested in the noise blanker.
Paypal OK. Respond via QRZ.com email address please.

More specifically, what we have done is:

Remove U3, put a socle and try with a new one.
