After installing beta v2.57, K3 would not TX in CW mode. After about 15 mins of headscratching, I noted the install had disabled VOX. That seems unusual that the install would mess with settings. Anyway, I turned VOX back on and all is well - minor annoyance - had to bring out the manual. Ji

[Elecraft] WAYNE - SPLIT BUG

Wayne There appears to be a bug that will kill SPLIT. Joe Subich has confirmed that holding SUB button slightly longer than a "TAP" will kill SPLIT. This happened to me in a pileup on 30M. I don't believe "linking/unlinking" SUB should kill SPLIT. I hope this gets on the list of fixes. Tha

[Elecraft] KRX3 Issue - Jumper W4

I could not get KRX3 or Main to RX after KRX3 install. After checks and rechecks with Rene of Elecraft, we discovered the W4 jumper had not been removed. Now here is the "gotcha". Manual shows jumper across two pins of a connector. I saw none and moved on. My RF board is a Rev A. The KBPF3

I spoke with Lisa last week while making filter choice mod to my order. She indicated that first production run end date is May 14. I do not know how many units are in that run. My 2nd run order was placed on June 11. Lisa expects the second run to begin within the first or second week of Dec.
