Thanks to everyone for your suggestions, I tried them all. After additional sluething, I believe our K3S has an issue with the KIO3B board. The USB Audio CODEC will not load or be recognized on any computer (CAT control works fine and is recognized in the Elecraft K3 utility). Additional
