Re: [Elecraft] K-3 6 Meter FM

2008-05-04 Thread NZ6D - Dave
I have been having the same problem all night with this same issue. I have been through all the filter settings, placement, BW, etc...This fixed it for me. I did notice the main tuning knob encoder had to be turned slowly to get up to 13.00 khz. All is working well now. Thanks, Dave NZ6D wayne

Re: [Elecraft] K3 - Added FM filter and have new error

2008-03-29 Thread NZ6D - Dave
I have noticed that the error only comes up when I power on the radio. After I hit the menu key all is normal. Is it possible that the P.O.S.T. is not seeing the filter and that's why the CPU is reporting error? Dave - NZ6D -- View this message in context:

[Elecraft] K3 - Added FM filter and have new error

2008-03-24 Thread NZ6D - Dave
I got the FM filter and installed it. I had to move the 3 filters I had in the K3 down one slot for each filter. I set up each filter in the new slot in the config menu but now I get an ERR BP2 error. Can any one point me in the right direction? Thanks, Dave - NZ6D -- View this message in

Re: [Elecraft] Update failed

2008-02-18 Thread NZ6D - Dave
I just updated with Utility version 1.1.1.28 and Vista Home Basic @ 4800 baud and it worked fine. I do have a problem with saving a configuration though. The utility crashes at the end when it tries to save the config file. A file is saved in the directory but I have not tried to upload it yet

[Elecraft] K3 PA FP temp sensor

2008-02-03 Thread NZ6D - Dave
When trying to display the PA or FP temp, the manual says to tap DISPLAY and use VFO B knob to select PA xxC or FP xxC (pg 48) but when I try this I do not see either as an option. How do I set these options. Dave -- View this message in context:
