I have been having the same problem all night with this same issue. I have
been through all the filter settings, placement, BW, etc...This fixed it for
me. I did notice the main tuning knob encoder had to be turned slowly to get
up to 13.00 khz. All is working well now.
Thanks,

I have noticed that the error only comes up when I power on the radio.
After I hit the menu key all is normal.
Is it possible that the P.O.S.T. is not seeing the filter and that's why the
CPU is reporting error?

I got the FM filter and installed it. I had to move the 3 filters I had in
the K3 down one slot for each filter. I set up each filter in the new slot
in the config menu but now I get an ERR BP2 error. Can any one point me in
the right direction?
Thanks,

I just updated with Utility version 1.1.1.28 and Vista Home Basic @ 4800
baud and it worked fine. I do have a problem with saving a configuration
though. The utility crashes at the end when it tries to save the config
file. A file is saved in the directory but I have not tried to upload it yet
When trying to display the PA or FP temp, the manual says to tap DISPLAY and
use VFO B knob to select PA xxC or FP xxC (pg 48) but when I try this I do
not see either as an option. How do I set these options.

Arrived today in San Diego, Ca from up the road. I am still in shock as to
how well this radio works. It was worth every painful minute of waiting.
Thank you Elecraft for yet another fine product.
