Actually, to be fair, offering everyone a small discount, vice a substantial
discount on a very limited number of units, has merit. I withdraw my previous

Level of discount silly and not at all in keeping with the concept of a
"Black Friday" sale, IMHO. If Elecraft can't afford to offer a
true "Black Friday" discount (nothing shameful in that), it should
just pass (or offer the presented discounts simply as holiday or end of year
