Can someone please confirm or otherwise that it is possible to use the * E980190* DB15 Y-Cable in conjunction with the *E850463 Optional KAT500 to KPA500 Cable. BTW I ordered the KAT500 the day it was announced at Dayton and it arrived here yesterday , serial is #206. Cheers es 73 to all and h

[Elecraft] KPA500 #181 confession time

It is time for me to fess up and start my ingress of humble pie!! I received my KPA kit in mid July and put it together but could not get any HV voltage readout and posted to this refllector with several replies and thankyou to them. The project was put on hold while the XYL and I went to VK3 land

My KPA500 went together well EXCEPT I could not get isolation between U3 and the heat spreader but I continued assembly any way. Now when I switch on I get 0 HV message in the readout. BTW the reason for the delay between assembly and this email is that the XYL and I have just spent a week in VK
