Thanks for the information about setting up the Keyer, I would never have found
it as my unit came direct from the manufacturer.
I have 2 further questions:
(a) I have a sub rcvr in my K3 so I assume the plug marked sub RX goes to the
Sub Rx socket on the keyer?
(b) What does the the plug marked
I have just received a Microham keyer II which I am keen to use with my K3.
It would really help if someone who has a Microham keyer II working with their
K3
would please send me details of how they did it, as the manual appears to be
very general
and not just oriented towards the K3.

This is probably a very naive question, but where should a powermeter that
measures Forward and reflected power
be positioned?
Should it be between the Amplifier and the Tuner, which could safeguard the
amplifier if there was a high SWR,
or after the tuner, (ie, between the tuner and the antenna)
I have been using my K3 to drive a transverter (with 28mhz input 1296 output).
and using the low power
output to the transverte through the KXV3 option.
All of transmissions have been using digital.
The K3 has worked perfectly.
Having proved I can do EME, I now want to go back and use the K3 for
I use my P3 for weak signal work.
Is it possible to expand the scale, so say 150 to 120db is what I want to see,
rather than 150 to 90?
