Bose is most comfortable in my opinion...

Yes, I agree, I also prefer the FTDX101MP (own it 1 + year/CW, SSB) and have 3
K3S/P3 Systems…..but...no such thing as perfect…here is my story from my
qrz.com blog
I now use and recommend ( e.g. DSP even Better) the YAESU May 2021 SW/FW update
now.
I own a YAESU FTDX101MP ( SW/FW upgrade
I run a FTDX101 MP-no SSB splatter ( 20W/65W), no CW clicks (6ms)- May 2021
FW update implemented.
Latest issue of QST (June) ARRL Lab: Test Report - Review on FTDX10 does not
confirm clicks or SSB splatter.

Even (sub) nano second (ns) fast acting gas tubes are primarily not a safe
solution to RX front end burnout protection.
Semiconductors:
Issues: Energy Protection level, RX Intermodulation prevention.
There are however some fast semiconductor diodes (ESD protection) available
with low capacitance
gay! 😉

record QSOs, RX 1 and RX2 are accessible
independently , Main Ant (RX) out does exists. These features are inferior
in YAESU or simply missing.

Gernot,
Why ? Generally you need to make sure you are not overloading/destroying RXin
K3.

old 10/100W modules.
80m and 20m were better by about 6dB!?
The two tones (IMD3 Test Tones) however were in both cases never absolutely
identical in amplitude (ca. +/-1dB) on the analyzer.
Any comments?

better and actions are often more effective
than with K3S.
In HF mobile , low bands , have not tested the YAESU yet 😉.
