I have a K2 (about 2 months) and think it's a great tranceiver. I live in Loveland, Co. My brother lives in Forest Grove, Or and is thinking about getting an FT-1000 MKV Field or a TS-2000. I'm trying to convince him to get the K2/100 with all the options (and I'll build it for him). He

[Elecraft] KNB2 Noise Blanker Not Working

I've had my K2 built for about 2 months now. Everything works except the noise blanker. I've looked at a lot of archives on this. What I have done to test it is: 1. Scratch the top of Q21 on the RF board to generate noise. 2. Using an oscilloscope, I can trace the noise pulse through Q2-Q4
