John, I believe you have the KAT100-2, so you plug the KPA100 ribbon cable into the KAT100. That makes the connection for all signals that appear on the external cable. You only need one cable from the KIO2 - and it plugs into either the AUX I/O on the KAT100 or the KPA100, no need for

Right, Don. That's what I'm trying to replace is the cable from the KIO2 to the KPA100 (or KAT100). I have the Y cable constructed (PC -- K2 -- tuner/amp) but would like to make just a simple cable for when I don't need the computer control (e.g., K2 -- tuner/amp) and don't want all of that extra
