The internal speaker is connected to the left channel, so anything you
have routed to the right channel will not be audible when listening to
the internal speaker.

I don't think do. After owning my K3 almost 2 years, I haven't noticed
anything. I've never hooked up external speakers. The internal one has been
sufficient for me.

SPKRS=2 is either or both. See page 20 of the manual.
Speaker+ph was the problem it was not set to yes.
But I did have the 2 correct.
