I'm quite happy with the mic element (HC-4 in my case). They're comfortable,
but not as comfortable as the Sony Walkman headset I use for CW.
They sound "muffled" to me and require more drive for the headphones than
the walkmans...

I assume you mean switching between "TWO" different mic inserts with the
PSP.
If you use K3 EZ it is very easy to switch between a variety of TX EQ
setups of your choice.
I don't think the original question was about microphone response, but
in general which is a better set for contesting.

I personally like the headphones on the ProSet Plus. I find them more
comfortable. YMMV.

well, seeing as the PSP is about using to different mic elements (wide/
narrow) and you should be able to achieve that via the Tx Eq, it may
not be, but at present, you can't easily switch between Tx EQ setups

Any contesters care to comment on their experiences using one or the other,
one versus the other. I have a ProSet, older one, and it seems to be fine,
but am considering another one... just wonder if there is $70 worth of
difference between the two.
