MicroHAM can have two settings (like for two different rigs) : one for K3
basic (=K2 in fact) and an other for K3/K31. In the second case it is not
a problem if it switches to K31 by adding K31 if necessary.
But of course if Wayne removes this feature I applaud since I am not
convinced it

I think we've beaten this one to death.
My goal is to completely eliminate the need for the K2x and K3x meta
commands. No more modality, no more issues. Thanks in advance for your
patience.

The day you work on the protocol, contact me again... my own list (sent to
you) could be updated !.
Nothing critical however... Except may be the problems that may result from
the CONFIG:VFO OFS=ON and interaction with the Band stacking memory.
