I this weekend's NAQP SSB contest, I notice times when the K3 went to receive the audio volume was low...less signal...but then recovered after a few seconds or on the next transmission cycle. Is there something going on with the AGC? My K3 is very standard...run of the mill

Same here, and I almost never use slow AGC for anything. I mistakenly started the NAQP this weekend with AGC set to slow, but I quickly realized the problem when the gain wasn't recovering fast enough to catch the reports of weaker callers ... especially if the AGC had just been hit hard by
