I am unable to connect the USB on my K3, modified with a KIO3B set of boards,
to my MacMini, running OS10.9.5. I am not able to connect it to my MacbookPro
running Sierra, 10.12.3, either. My Macs simply do not see the USB port. If I
look at the “About This Mac” report on the Macs, I see that a
