Wow! 40 meters was filled with folks and with a large order of noise. Fading made things even more interesting ;) Plus I can't seem to tell a 2 from a 3. Hmmm ... maybe I should ... But I digress. 22 check ins tonight gives us a grand total of 1412 for the net from 291 different folks. It appears some of you may have grown attached to this net. Ken at 60, Ric at 55, Bill at 50 and Karl at 35 to name just a few. And you don't even want to know how many times Tom has checked in!

Eleven weeks until the second anniversary occurs for the Elecraft CW Net. I never thought it would last a year when I started things. I just thought there should be a CW net to complement the Elecraft SSB Net. It seems to have performed that function. Oh, I forgot, after the twenty meter net KL7CW called WA2SI. Bert had wanted to hook up with Rick to get Alaska. I listened to their entire exchange and it was exciting to hear them eek it out of the propagation. 229 both ways but it's in the log book. Now a few QSL cards will fly all the way across the US so Bert can have WAS. Way to go guys!!
