I ordered a supply of the various screws at Elecraft just to have them at
hand incase one got away from me.
Also I can replace one that gets accidently worn a bit.

Hardware store screw are normally not available in black, so why mess up
the appearance of your KX2 with zinc

If you have any of the remaining screws then take one to the hardware store
when you go. They will do a perfect match for you. They use an aluminum
template folds referred to as a Screw Checker to make sure it is correct. The
sis not an “eyeball exercise.” There is nothing about that screw
