Hi Julian, I do not use any kind of computer control/interface. I am not strong in this area, and have been holding off on more firmware upgrades until the "dust settles" a little bit. I don't use SSB often enough to have hit on the sequence of events that causes it. But having set up the mic gain and compression to give the output I want, I've noticed the meter being less lively than it should, and nothing's changed. Do either of you guys use computer software to control the radio, perchance? I recently identified a problem where filter settings were not properly being stored or restored when changing bands by software command. Perhaps other settings are getting lost or confused as well. ----- Julian, G4ILO K3 s/n: 222 K2 s/n: 392 ____________________________________________________________ Discount Business Consulting Services - Click Now! http://thirdpartyoffers.juno.com/TGL2141/fc/Ioyw6i3m0mXv9cNgiyAuptEEoZDybHT4PltdXhIHIAXwDSxVzGHQ9E/ _______________________________________________ Elecraft mailing list Post to: Elecraft@mailman.qth.net You must be a subscriber to post to the list.
