I know this probably is wrong place to be asking questions about the heathkit,
but, I'm desperate! Anybody have any suggestions to correct chip in cw
transmission?

Having read through the EHAM reviews of the HW-101 (about 4 or 5 pages)
there seem to be no comments about CHIRP during CW operation, although
the general drift is that the rig is a dog on CW in general.
I wonder if your problem with chirp could be due to a seriously (VERY
SERIOUSLY)
Why not ask the question on the HeathKit reflector instead of here?

If the chirp was in receive mode, check bulletin HW-101-32 at
standards and is now 40 years old in addition.

I get a thrill when the other ham is using a tube transmitter, or
homebrew, or anything out of the ordinary. I like the bit of chirp or
QRH that tells me a ham is using
