I bought a Logitech External speaker for the K-3 and it works great.
The woofer is the master unit has a 15 pin socket for connections. I
need an extension cable. The cable looks like the VGA 15 pin, 5 pins in
3 rows. However a VGA extension cable does not work. Has anyone else
ran into
Bill,
A VGA extension cable has several of the pins connected together (I
believe all the shields). Is that possibly the problem?
You can buy DE15HD cables that have all 15 pins routed end to end, but
that is not a VGA extension cable.

Hi Bill,
If you Google VGA plug wiring you'll see that not all pins are connected and
some are shorted together. That's probably the reason for it not working.
You probably need a DB15 straight through male to female extension cable,
not a male/female VGA cable. You can purchase 15 pin straight
Correction:
The 2nd link I sent you (Monoprice) is incorrect. It shows 15 pins arranged
in two rows. The first link (Windord) is correct, 15 pins in 3 rows.
