I trust you didn't have the RIT on by mistake ? I
find I often leave the RIT on and forget about it with
the K2. The flashing indicator just doesn't seem to
be obvious enough to me to remind me to turn it off.

I made my first SSB (USB, using XV144) qso with the K2 and it was
reported to me that while my audio was great, it was 600Hz lower than
the RX. I was not operating split. And indeed, if operated split with
TX up 600Hz then I was receiving and transmitting with the carrier at
the same frequenc
