I know we're veering way off-topic but as a quick FYI for others, in Chinese different tones impart different meanings to words. The same word meaning 'four' using one tone means 'death' with another tone and 'to tell time' with still another, which is why you don't give clocks as gifts. I suppose when you retire from a Chinese company if you were to receive a gold watch it'd have a much different going away wish than in countries elsewhere!
