I have often wondered if serial numbers on today's radios run sequential.
Seems like they may skip numbers to make us think they sell more than they
actually do.
I wonder mostly about the Ken,IC and Yaesu.

For those that have an interest in the current K2 serial numbers,
today I received K2 kit #5600.
I did a look see glance over inventory as per the instructions but I
dont see any type of 12V DC power cord? Radio shack -- for me -- is a
110 mile round trip drive. So no power cord

Ouch! And I complain about it being 6 miles to the nearest Radio Shack!
Anyway, for a QRP K2 any decent zip cord from the hardware store or just
about anything you can scrounge is FB. Cord is supplied with the KPA100
since that requires heavy-duty stuff to handle the 15 amps or so the
KPA100+K2
