Hello Listees, I am tying to figure out how to use the K2 as a receiver in conjunction with another rig as a transmitter. Is there any way to mute the K2 from an external signal. Would controlling the T/R switch from outside rig do it? If so, where would be a good place to tie in to the K2 to

Forest, You may want to look at my website article www.qsl.net/w3fpr dealing with adding a CW PTT to the K2. The added PTT input will work both in CW and SSB mode and will mute the receiver, but no RF will be produced - this will be positively true in CW unless one also activates the paddle
