HI all:

Preaching to the choir (mostly).

I gave the K2 (cw only, no KPA100) a thorough workout in the most
recent CQWW cw contest (this past weekend).

Nice radio. Probably the best receiver (crushproof) I've used on the
low bands from this location. I used a single filter setting for the
entire contest (~400 hz). I'll probably pick up another one for SO2R
operation (single op, 2 radio) for next year (unless the K2 Mk2 or K3
comes out by Dayton -- or sooner).

I sure do wish it had:
1. full time display of VFO B (very helpful)
2. full time display of the offset for the RIT/XIT...working by
"feel" is not so great when I know that I want to call up 0.1 or 0.2
or 0.5 or even 1.5kc. This is not easy to do in the current
configuration when you are working guys quickly (near-mandatory
requirement)

That said, here are my results:
Q = number of QSO's
Z = number of CQ zones
C = number of DXCC countries

qrg Q Z C
160 14 4 4
80 59 11 30
40 173 24 74
20 262 23 85
15 237 21 78
10 22 12 17

sum 767 95 288
score: 812,343

Operated for 39 of 48 hours.
