I'm not quite sure how this suggestion would work. My priority would
simply be to have monitor output on the LIN OUT without having to turn
up the monitor in my headphones. Is it still on the list?

Hi,
As far as I know this is still not implemented. I agree it would be a vey
useful feature as an entire operating session can be recorded without any
extra equipment. I would think this is a must for many net control ops,
DXpeditions and many others.

Maybe I should have restated this as questions. :-)
Has this feature (a separately adjustable transmit monitor level just
for the line out) been implemented and I missed it? If not, has this
already been covered in recent discussions? Is this a desirable
feature for anyone else?

Hi Joe,
I just tested this to be sure. The change you mention requires the
transmit monitor to be on and having to hear yourself though the speaker
(or headphones).
I think what was asked for was something more like the new "DVR TRANSMIT
MONITOR SEPARATELY ADJUSTABLE" feature added in version 4.
Did the K3 feature of monitoring transmit audio on line out without
having to monitor through the speakers (or headphones) ever get
implemented?
There was a discussion on this back in 2009, but I haven't found
anything recent in this list or in hfwnotes.rtf.
