Hi Joe, I just tested this to be sure. The change you mention requires the transmit monitor to be on and having to hear yourself though the speaker (or headphones). I think what was asked for was something more like the new "DVR TRANSMIT MONITOR SEPARATELY ADJUSTABLE" feature added in version 4.
