I had a similar problem with s/n 181, which turned out to be poor connection
with the front panel. It was cured by removing the front panel and
refitting it, taking care to make sure all the connector pins were made.

please forgive my basic questions about SSB.
Rig seems to work fine on CW. Thought I would quickly check SSB operation.

Trying to put K3 SN 42 on SSB to make a few SS contacts, using an Elecraft
MH-2 Mic. I set up MIC SEL for FP:h and turned on the bias. I can adjust
the Mic gain and compression, and hear the results with MON turned on, and
