HI all: Being very part time QRP in the CQWW SSB (phone -- yuck), I was outside today playing with antennas, planning, tracing coax runs under the leaves, etc. I somehow managed to have my RG17 run hooked up to the 80m inverted V. Guess there's little loss there! I'll be rolling out the 7/8" Heliax for the back tower 20m yagi soon....it's been sitting in the garage since late Summer but now that the wx is finally turning, my brain kicks into antenna time.
Anyhow, it dawned on me that there were to be 15 K3 Field Testers, but I don't know who they are. All that comes to mind are: W0YK NØSS N6TR K2VCO AC7AC AB7R I'm not counting Wayne no Eric. So who are the others? I've probably left out some obvious guys, but listening to SSB has fried my brain at the moment (remember that my K2 doesn't have the SSB module, so I have to use brand Y - which is an FT817). And as for received radios, looks like we are up to SN #27 (starting at SN#22 and with SN#66 magically shipped first to be with fellow Elecraft SN#666 - something devilish going on here?). Did I miss any? Just checking. Wonder when the flood gates will open.
