[Elecraft] K3 60m ERR TXG

Yep - similar problem. The radio would not perform TxG for 60m band using the default setting of 5.150mhz. So after studying up on what the 60m channels/band limits are here in the US, I set it to 5.335mhz or so.It set up just fine after that. I did not check the "bandwidth" for the error msg thoug

At a carrier frequency of 5.260 MHz my K3 is giving spurious signals approx +/- 660 KHz from the carrier at -54 dBc, output level 100W derived from the "TUNE" button operation. The spurious levels increase as the K3 is set to lower frequencies and is quite clean at the top of the 60m band. I

Stewart Mine works fine from 5.150 to 5.419 MHz with 95 Watts output when set to "100W" on the K3 and no sign of ERR TXG messages. The alignment is set at the factory. On another 5 MHz issue, the spurious levels are poor and below specification on frequencies below the point where a relay cl

Following the recent posting of the European 60m BPF adjustments, I decided to set mine up. I am having difficulties getting a sufficient bandwidth for the UK allocation which is 5405kHz to 5260kHz i.e 145kHz. The bandwidth between ERR TXG messages is approximately 120kHz. I think that the US al
