The K3 utility always gets them from the same ftp directory on our web site when you press 'check Versions Now'.. Its pretty mindless - in a good way :-) Make sure you also have also checked the 'Copy new files from elecraft into Local Folder' box before pressing 'Check Versions now'. I leave

Well, there's a link on the software page at the very bottom. There you will find a folder called "beta". Download the folder, or if you don't want the release notes, just download the zip file. Expand it. Browse to it in Utility and go for broke. I'm not sure why 3.63 is still in the "bet

The K3 Utility does indeed use WinInet. However clearing the browser cache shouldn't be necessary as I think I tried to select options to bypass local cache. Clearing the cache may not do what you are trying to do unless you use IE for this cache clearing step. Not all browsers use WinInet.
