Quick question - are the new K3s still being issued with the four detentless encoders? In other words, are the filter, mic, and power encoders being used today the type that are quite stiff to turn and are smooth in feel when turning them? The reason I ask is my K3, #2730 used to have the original

Just out of curiosity, I'm wondering if Elecraft has gone back to the original "ratchety" encoders used for filter width, etc. I used to have the original encoders until one of them failed. My front panel board replacement came with the tighter feeling, non-ratchety encoders which I don't reall
