Welcome aboard!! You only need the KBPF3 if you want to listen to frequencies outside the amateur bands. My recommendation would be to remove the KBPF3 from the KRX3 and move it to the main receiver, but if you want general coverage RX in both receivers, then you'd need to install one on both r

I am a new owner, and have much still to learn on this rig. Do you have to install 2 of the KBPF3 Option boards in order to have both primary and second reciever have General Coverage Receive filtering? Mine appears to be installed in the second receiver, and throws an error if config is set to
