Yes, you can use a single 13 KHz filter in the KRX3 for all modes, you just
need to activate it for all modes using the K3 utility. Of course, you will
lose the benefits of narrower filters in crowded conditions.

Great post. That has just validated my decision not to order *any*
narrower filters with my K3. Just the FM filter (for 10 FM) and the AM
filter (for SWL). Narrower filters can go on my Christmas list, if the
experience of other more demanding operators shows that I might
actually get some benefit
