As I mentioned in a previous postingto QRP-L, I worked the ARCI contest
a bit yesterday afternoon while operating Pedestrian Mobile with my KX1.

I decided to try logging with my Palm Pilot and Golog so I used an
elastic band off of a bunch of Broccoli to attach the Palm to back of the KX1 and it worked pretty well. I found that if I slipped the edge of the elastic under the tuning knob it actually created a little bit of drag on the knob and made the rig a bit less prone to accidental frequency changes. Also with Golog there is some blank space at the bottom of the input screen so I managed to position the elastic around the Palm so that I wasn't blocking anything on the screen. The big advantage over paper is the I had automatic duping and didn't have to worry about looking at my watch to log the time for the QSO (Golog does that automatically in UTC). The disadvantage is that my "Graffiti" skills are very rusty so I had to ask for a few repeats on the ARCI #s as I flubbed inputting them on my Palm in real time. I had no problem just going back and putting in the RST and SPC but my short term
memory for a 4 digit random number is about 3 seconds!

It is probably overkill for casual operating but I found it very useful for /PM contesting. I also used a slightly bigger but flat stylus from one of my old Newtons and I was easily able to keep it in my hand while at the same time sending with the KXPD1, paddle so i didn't have to keep searching around for something to write with.
